Shoutout to all mothers who are fighting a good fight! In this stage of my life as my children are growing, I also have lots of realizations. As they grow, they also teach me to become selfless, patient, humble and strong. As a teacher- nanay, one of the challenges that I go through is to balance and play the different roles that I have at home- being a wife, housemaker, full-time mom and a teacher as well. My greatest joy as a mom is seeing my children learn well and learn right, that is, teaching the mind, touching the heart and training the hands.
There are many ways you have to try in order for your child to learn- you have to be creative, you have to think differently. To be patient is one of my challenges. The greatest joy I have in teaching my child is, I can teach him with love and I can be with him in every step of the way. The greatest thing that I learned in this journey with Goducate Academy is the opportunity to be with my child. Every child is unique and we as parents, are part of their molding.
My greatest joy as a mother is to see my kids improve everyday. The most significant learning I have is to get to know my kids better, we do have lots of bonding time that I will really treasure for life. To all moms, the learning of our kids starts at home. We, as parents, are the ones responsible for teaching life skills.
I am happy seeing my child apply all the values that she learned at home like respecting older people, being polite and many more. It is really our number one role to train our children in the ways of the Lord.
Becoming a teacher- Nanay is hard and I think the most challenging part is being consistent. We all know that to be consistent in every area of our life is challenging and hard...Let us be flexible. We can be creative, it's hard to learn if it's boring. Let us sharpen the minds of our child by giving books.
Becoming a teacher while also being a mother represents unique challenges. It is a multiple responsibility that requires time management, flexibility and adaptability and the greatest joy to me as a mother teaching Immanuel is to watch him learn and grow. Allow your child to transfer their knowledge, to solve problems, to make decisions and to create something.
It's been a privilege to teach my daughter Naomi, hands on, through Goducate Academy. Our time for answering worksheets and other activities become our bonding and playtime.
